Head of Sales

£50,000 – £60,000 plus monthly bonus
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Head of Sales will take responsibility for the overall delivery of the growth strategy for the company products. This includes working with the Commercial Director on agreeing the overall sales strategy, targets, priorities and routes to market.
The successful Head of Sales will have a proven track record in business-to-business sales management, co-ordinating remote and external teams effectively, with experience in process design, implementation and management.

Based within recently renovated modern offices, the Head of Sales will work on a hybrid basis Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Create and agree a strategy that allows for growth, profitability and sustainability.
2. Take ownership of the operational delivery of the agreed strategy, making it your own.
3. Establish and develop existing relationships with external stakeholders to maximise growth.
4. Identify additional partnership opportunities utilising current products.
5. Work closely with Marketing and Product owners to continually improve the service offered to clients.
6. Manage the Sales Manager and Partnerships Co-ordinator to provide development and guidance around growth strategies.
7. Line management of the Sales Manager and associated team performance.
8. Liaise with external stakeholders in order to execute the agreed strategy.
9. Work with the wider team on risk, product and recruitment strategies and projects.
10. Attend exhibitions, events and workshops when required.
11. Identify opportunities for enhancing current products and developing new products and services that add value to customers.
Knowledge / Qualifications:
1. A proven track record in B2B strategic sales management.
2. Working with remote and external teams effectively, through clear, concise and effective communication skills.
3. Experience in process design, implementation and management.
4. Experience of working in financial services would be desirable.
5. Exceptional commercial decision-making abilities with a strong business acumen.
6. Effective leadership and an excellent motivator, with the ability to get the best possible results from a sales team.
You must be able to travel to meet key customers, attend events and onsite meetings. Own transport is required for the role.
