DATA INFORMATION COORDINATOR
Under general supervision, conducts information research, collects data, interprets data in accordance with established procedures, performs routine analyses, and prepares reports in prescribed format. Provides data management support, prepares case report forms, and verifies accuracy of data entry. Prepares event summaries using the computer. Performs quality assurance checks. Data collection may include patient recruitment, attending clinics, testing and scoring, and extraction from medical records and medical charts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Creating data dictionaries for C4R and follow-up forms
* Report tracking summary for C4R Monthly
* Data received from EDC, FCs for C4R, and Follow-up
* Contacting FCs data managers as needed
* Creating folders in ShareFile, and moving data from ShareFile to Q drive for Follow-up and C4R
* Manage SharePoint sites' content by organizing, storing, and sharing documents and controlling users access and roles
* Create research study projects by designing forms and surveys, customizing data fields, and setting up branching logic within the web-based REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) system
* Management of REDCap data, such as data validation, export, and reporting
* Collaborates with IT to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of shared data across various cloud-based file-sharing platforms
Data Management Tasks:
* Develop and maintain study databases from the study; design and implement data quality control measures; coordinate with PI and other study team members on the design of data collection, quality control, data transfer, data management, and report generation; provide documented study datasets for analysis; work closely with investigators and operations team to understand project goals and execute reporting and queries to meet project timelines
Data Analysis Tasks:
* Prepare tabular, graphical, and statistical summary reports in support of investigator research and publication
* Electronically receive, process, manage, and report on data from the core CARDIA study, ancillary CARDIA studies, CARDIA reading center results, and original CARDIA laboratory specimen data
* Perform other duties as assigned
Hourly Range: $15.25 - $24.75
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Background and experience with PHP, MySQL, and various Joomla extensions, templates, and modules are beneficial.
