As a Mechanical Inspector, you’ll conduct meticulous assessments of components, both at our facilities and on-site with customers and suppliers. You’ll ensure that every part meets rigorous specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements, contributing to the reliability and reputation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Be the Quality Champion: Represent Copper Alloys at customer and supplier premises, upholding our values and standards.
2. Precision Inspections: Use advanced measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions, surface finishes, and tolerances.
3. Document Excellence: Maintain detailed inspection reports and calibration records, ensuring traceability and accuracy.
4. Problem-Solving Pro: Identify non-conformities, issue failure notices, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
5. Support Innovation: Help refine inspection procedures and quality control processes for better outcomes.
6. Safety First: Report potential hazards or maintenance issues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
2. Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment.
3. Strong communication skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders.
4. Experience in quality control, inspection processes, or a related field is a plus.
5. IT literate.
