Purpose of the role Using bespoke computer system, take customer orders, plan deliveries with plant and fleet department, update customer on progress with deliveries. Price small works. Full training will be given. Coordinate the day to day operation of a designated area/region within the National Customer Support Centre Deliver first class Customer Service Key accountabilities Receive and process orders Price and process quotations Add value to every order Pro-actively pursue sales leads Liaise with Sales Team Leader on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of a designated area to give the customers a professional service Resolve queries within agreed time limits Any other duties to ensure smooth running of the Support Centre Any other duties as requested by your manager Working as part of a small team and on there own iniative following training in our Banbury Sales office. Using SAP to process sales and orders along with associated distribution and administration functions. Job requirements Proven customer service Good telephone manner Ability to prioritise Good communication skills Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Work on own initiative Positive and proactive approach Friendly and outgoing personality Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Education/Qualification A good standard of numeracy and literacy Along with the ability to use Excel, Word and with associated computer skills. SAP experience advantageous.
