Tewkesbury Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation, providing education to a cohort of 1200 plus students, aged 11-18. We are well placed at Junction 9 of the M5 and close to the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills and the historic towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Cheltenham.

We offer the opportunity to advance your career within a supportive academy environment. Training is delivered through our excellent stand-alone training facility at the CLF Institute, providing a continuum of development through each career stage.
We are able to offer ECT candidates an earlier start date to gain experience towards the end of this academic year.
What we are looking for:
We seek passionate individuals who want to transform education and contribute to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation. You should be experienced in planning and delivering high-quality lessons, with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree is essential. We look for professionals with excellent class management skills and high expectations of work and behaviour.
Your duties will specifically include:
* Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students and developing a high-quality programme of study with accurate target setting.
* Monitoring and reporting on student progress and taking appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional feedback.
* Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
* Recognising and supporting opportunities that extend beyond classroom delivery to enrich students' experiences.
* Developing your own expert practice and supporting the development of others.
