Service Technician Job Purpose: Learn the skills to provide technical service to customers in the petroleum industry. Technicians are skilled workers that work with complex systems or perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests. The Petroleum Technician should represent the company core values and perform all duties with safety being the paramount goal. Service Technician Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Complete assigned work orders/tickets in a timely manner. Handling maintenance including, but not limited to: Fuel dispensers and pumps C-store POS systems Electrical equipment/systems Minor work on underground systems Tank monitoring equipment Fleet Fueling Controls Maintain knowledge on current industry regulations (DEP, EPA, L&I etc.) Adhere to all company policies, procedures, practices, and safety standards. Maintain company vehicles and adhere to all state/local/federal laws and company policies regarding operation of a motor vehicle. Maintain truck inventory accurately and manage parts inventory according to company policy and procedures. Attend and participate in all work-related meetings, scheduled inventories and training classes. Maintain professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy. Maintains professional communication and demeanor with vendors, team members and guests. Strong commitment to teamwork while being flexible and adaptable to change. Responsible for maintaining personal and company provided tools Responsible for following customer’s safety and housekeeping guidelines Be able to travel and stay overnight All other duties assigned Service Technician Experience and Skill Requirements: Completion of a related trade school program preferred. Mechanical and electrical skills preferred. Previous experience with aerial lift equipment/cranes is a plus. Must have knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction environment Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. Must be 18 years old Valid state driver’s license required
