We are seeking an Injury Management Specialist looking for their next challenge who is motivated and strives to provide the highest quality of customer service to clients.
Working as an Injury Management Specialist, you will be a local resource working for one of our key accounts, an ASX listed industry leading financial services company. You will be providing specialised support on a mix of physical and psychological claims across Victoria and NSW, providing virtual and face-to-face contact with a focus on early, durable return to work services.
Day to day you will be:
* Effectively support and assist employees with work-related injuries and conditions to recover at/return to work;
* Provide expert advice and guidance relating to workers compensation claims;
* Work with injured/ill employees, their Manager, treating doctors, and insurer to achieve positive health outcomes;
* Manage referrals and action within required timeframes;
* Lodge claims, attend claim strategy reviews including THP & NTDs when required;
* Conduct assessments, develop and implement return to work plans; and
* Take the lead on national return to work and injury prevention initiatives.

About You:
* Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, or Rehabilitation Counsellor (relevant registration required). Please note an allied health qualification is preferred but not required;
* Previous employer-based return to work experience or occupational rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required;
* Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain);
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
* Excellent time management skills;
* Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem-solving;
* Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
* Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
