CATERING ASSISTANT Salary: Grade 2, Point 3 (£22,737 per annum approx whole year) Actual salary £11,823 per annum approx. depending on years’ service Contract: Permanent Hours: 22.5 hrs per week, 4.5 hrs per day, Monday – Friday 9.30 am – 2.00 pm, Term Time only (38 pupil weeks, plus 3 days when students are not in school) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Catering Assistant to join our school as soon as possible to assist the Catering Supervisor to deliver a high quality catering service at Highfields Primary School. We gained ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection and we are a founding member of Primitas Learning Partnership, a new Multi Academy Trust which seeks to make a positive difference in the local community. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic member of staff to join our catering team to assist in the serving of the lunch time meals and some general kitchen & cleaning duties. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake the level 2 in Food Hygiene.
