Are you an experienced Automation & Maintenance Engineer ready to take the lead in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment?
We're partnered with a specialist manufacturer of precision-turned parts, known for innovation, quality, and high-speed production. As they continue to grow and invest in automation, they're looking for a talented engineer to play a key role in maintaining, improving, and leading their automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
* Service and maintenance of automated production lines
* Fault finding and troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues
* Installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
* PLC and CNC software - modifying, programming, and optimising processes
* Process improvement through smart automation solutions
* Leading and developing a small team of technicians and engineers
Requirements:
* Strong electromechanical competency (you're equally confident with wiring diagrams and mechanical drives)
* Proven PLC programming/modification experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment - ideally food & beverage or similar
* A proactive problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
* Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
