We are looking for enthusiastic and organised people to work as part-time, temporary invigilators during our busy summer exam period. You will report to the Exams Manager and the Assistant Principal, Curriculum, who will offer training and guidance before you start the role.
We are looking for people who are able to work in what can be a stressful environment with a great deal of calm and empathy. The role involves distributing exam papers, dealing with candidates’ queries, supervising candidates at all times, completing and signing attendance registers and checking seating plans. Please be aware that this role will also include standing for long periods and carrying bulky exam papers to and from allocated rooms.
The rate of pay will be £13.85 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay per hour. This will be calculated in line with timesheets submitted and will be paid as a separate amount.
