From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Sales Director to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans. This role is a Nationwide role, and we are accepting applications accordingly. Travel is required as part of this role.

As a Sales Leader, the Sales Director will play a crucial role in driving our team toward ambitious origination targets. You will have line management responsibility for a team of Relationship Directors (RDs), supporting their development, coaching them to achieve success, and providing guidance on their business development strategies.
While warm leads from our established banking and accountancy partnerships will flow through the team, your focus will be on leading and motivating your team to reach their goals. You'll work closely with them to ensure they are equipped to engage with business owners, conduct financial analysis, and build strong proposals that promote business growth.
Role responsibilities:
* Support, coach and develop a small team of Relationship Directors.
* Support the team on pricing conversations and complex negotiations.
* Act as a subject matter expert on all things Asset Finance, acting as a lead contact for SME customers
* Support your team in negotiating contracts to maximise profit
* Ensure the achievement of SLA’s and KPI’s across your team
* Maintain CRM systems accurately
* Work closely with the wider partnership team to ensure overall success
* Forecasting and reporting activities
Key skills required;
* Solid asset finance background with the ability to write complex deals
* Proven credit skills with the ability to conduct full financial analysis
* Business to Business sales experience
* Understanding of operational risks, changing economic conditions and regulatory requirements
* Driven with a hunger to achieve and surpass origination targets
* A clear and confident communicator
* Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
