Every school across our large estate has been part of an £800m+ modernisation programme, aiming to create additional support needs and primary and secondary provision in South Lanarkshire that meets the needs of all our pupils.
The Depute Head Teacher is required to:
* Assist the Head Teacher in the overall management of the school as part of a Management Team.
* Deputise for the Head Teacher in their absence and have responsibility for the leadership, good management, and strategic direction of colleagues.
* Support the aims of the modernisation programme.

We are now inviting applications from Fully Qualified (GTC) Secondary Teachers. You will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate, and will carry out the range of duties outlined in Annexe B of "A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century".
