Job Description
An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Commis Waiter to join the Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at the OWO.
Reporting into Head Waiter, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service of the restaurant in the brand's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards.
Specifically, as the Commis Waiter, your responsibility’s will include:
1. Knowledge of menu and all products.
2. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
3. Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
4. Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
5. Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
6. Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests.
7. Commit to best possible sustainable practices daily in terms of waste management and purchasing.
8. Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
