RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent Manufacturer based in Darwen who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the finance team at their head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Purchase Ledger Assistant role will be key in ensuring the full process is completed from purchase orders through to invoicing and reconciliations in line with company deadlines. Duties include: Setting up new suppliers in line with company policy Ensuring purchase orders are accurate and correct with quantity and pricing Resolving any supplier queries and monitoring any unfulfilled orders Ensuring all month end duties are carried out on time Updating supplier information on ERP system Reconcile monthly supplier statements Reconcile supplier accounts Assist with payment runs Process staff expenses Assist with year end audit This Purchase Ledger Assistant role is ideal for someone with experience within manufacturing and is used to a busy, fast-paced role with a high volume of daily transactions.
