Job Summary:
A division of ATS Corp is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide end-to-end HR support and drive strategic human resource initiatives within our business of approximately 70 employees. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of increasing HR generalist experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to be very hands-on, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The position is an onsite role based in Edenbridge and reports to the Managing Director, with a dotted line reporting relationship into the VP, Human Resources at ATS.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, collaborating with them to provide guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters.
2. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with ATS goals and objectives.
3. Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, talent development, and offboarding.
4. Own the tactical elements of HR, including payroll, benefits, data administration, compliance, and HRIS system implementation.
5. Partner with managers to address employee performance and development needs, offering coaching and guidance on effective performance management techniques.
6. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
7. Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee and manager skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
8. Work with the business to analyze HR metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations to drive organizational effectiveness.
9. Own the Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements to meet or exceed local laws and ATS standards through close partnership with the HSE regional lead and onsite leadership team.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in employment laws, ensuring compliance and recommending appropriate actions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering.
3. Experience within the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
5. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and establish credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Resilient and adaptive style with a can-do attitude is a must.
7. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. High level of confidentiality and integrity.
