A well-established Brighton-based business is looking to recruit a full-time in-office Assistant Systems Accountant on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As Assistant Systems Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring all departments have the required hardware for operation.
2. Ensuring all correct products and prices and maintaining a register of change requests.
3. Ensuring the system is fully operational.
4. Overseeing the month-end process for purchase ledger ensuring all invoices have been accounted for.
5. Ensuring that the purchase order system is being adhered to and notifying the management accountant of any non-compliance.
6. Developing a management reporting system extracting data from various systems to produce KPI reports.
7. Maintaining Hardware Registers with the IT support company.
8. Dealing with general IT issues as they arise, being the main point of contact with the IT support provider.
9. Assisting with troubleshooting problems that arise within any of the software programs.
The Successful Applicant
1. Knowledge of Accounts, Systems, IT, and Operations.
2. Central Brighton location, no parking, in-office Monday to Friday.
3. Knowledge of software for accounts and operations along with strong Excel skills.
