As a fast growth business, focused on delivering high quality service solutions, they are recruiting for a permanent Head of Sales.
Role Overview
The Head of Sales (HOS) is responsible for all aspects Sales and Business Development service delivery, relationship and business development with designated customer accounts.The primary responsibility will be the development of sales in-line with budgetary demands. Broadening and strengthening the customer base through enhanced customer relationships that ensure continuity and reduce risk is of highest importance.
The HOS will seek to identify new opportunities with existing and new customers through the sale of parts ranging from small minor corrective to major component. The HOS will also be responsible for developing best practice within Sales, introducing new capability e.g., CRM and other IT tools that assist the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing sales revenue in-line with budgetary requirements.
* Identifying and securing new business development opportunities.
* Managing designated customer relationships to retain and develop contracts.
* Managing cash and reducing overdue customer debt to sit within budgetary levels.
* Securing market intelligence on our competitors and market pricing levels.
* Drive to encourage continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
Essential:
* Previous successful track record in technical sales environment.
* Relevant educational background in engineering and/or renewable energy.
* Experience managing short and long sales cycles.
* Prior experience in managing a team.
