We are currently recruiting for an experienced individual to join our IT team in Leicester, on a full-time permanent basis. The successful applicant will work as part of the Service Desk team, completing the day-to-day resolution of incidents and service requests.
The successful applicant will:
* Minimum two to three years’ experience working in a customer facing, service desk role
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with PC hardware and configuration
* Experience in working in a multisite support environment
* A clean full UK driving license
* Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
* Experience in using Service Desk applications (e.g. FreshService, Service Now, Assist, Remedy)
MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, the successful applicant will be expected to support any IT related queries of all Mattioli Woods employees via the Service Desk tool, Microsoft Teams, phone, e-mail, and face-to-face. You will regularly work from the office, with some flexibility on remote working.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Resolve technical support queries received either by phone, e-mail, or the Helpdesk portal
* Undertaking primarily first and second line troubleshooting with third line available
* Identify, create and where possible resolve problem tickets
* Take ownership of support problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
* Work to agreed SLAs and to provide timely updates to staff for existing tickets
* Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
* Assist in IT projects and take part in producing user guides/technical support documentation
* Site visits to remote offices to provide on-hand IT support
