About the role We are looking for someone interested in occasional teaching cover within the music department The role could include teaching on the level 2 or 3 vocational music course (UAL), the A level Music (OCR) and the A level Music Technology(Edexcel) courses. The UAL music vocational course involves elements of music composition, performance, research projects, music industry, song writing, music technology, the A level Music course contains composition, performance and listening and analysis of various genres of music and different composers. The A level Music Technology course includes working in the music recording studio, using Cubase to compose music n various popular music genres, and detailed knowledge of the development and history of music technology in popular music. About the Person We require a teacher who is knowledgeable in both Music and Music Technology, and has the ability to teach across different music courses and modules, in our large music department. The successful candidate will have knowledge of using a recording studio, and using the program Cubase. Ideally, some working knowledge of the various syllabi would be advantageous.
