The Role
:
As a Agricultural Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and service work both in the workshop and out in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for the maintenance and servicing of the van.
2. Complete job cards accurately and fully upon job completion.
3. Record time accurately using the time-clock system.
4. Work in a clean and organised manner.
5. Keep the van maintained, clean, and tidy.
6. Use diagnostic equipment effectively.
7. Assist and mentor less experienced engineers.
8. Follow health and safety procedures.
9. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
10. Previous experience working in a similar role.
11. Background working with Agricultural machinery.
12. Understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
13. Skilled in IT.
14. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
15. Valid UK driving licence.
16. Right to work in the UK.
