Dandelions Community Pre-school based in Hatch Warren, Basingstoke are looking for an experienced and passionate early years practitioner to join our small and friendly team.

We are in a purpose built setting within the grounds of St Marks CofE Primary School and operate term-time only. Our core hours being 0830hrs - 1530hrs.
Due to such a successful start to the academic year and an increased number of 2 year olds, we are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our team.
We can be flexible on working days; so can consider either a full-time or part-time position - please contact Dandelions to discuss further.
The Role
* To provide safe, high-quality education and care for the pre-school children
* To fulfil legal and statutory requirements
* To work as a key-worker and as part of the Pre-School team under the direction of the Pre-School Manager
* To complete observations and ensure children's next steps in learning and development are met.
* Identifying if a child needs early support and knowing how you can support this.
* To attend parent meetings and work collaboratively with outside agencies.
* To help maintain the reputation of the setting
* To understand the duty of care to the children and families that attend Dandelions
* To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff which is acquired as part of the job
The ideal candidate will
* hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
* have previous experience working within Early Years.
* have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage; including safeguarding knowledge.
* be fun, energetic and have a passion for wanting to provide the best care possible to all children.
This job is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974. All employees will be subject to background checks, enhanced DBS checks and reference checks.
