Job Title: Deputy Home Manager – Children Residential
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £30k - £31.2k per year *+ an additional £3,000 - £6,000 per year for sleep-ins (working approximately 4-8 sleep-ins per month)
Hours: Full Time 39 per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

The Opportunity: We are experiencing continued growth within our EPIC team and are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our amazing, supportive team in Nottingham. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Leading your team and working with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.
* Role Model: Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
* Supervision and Mentoring: Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
* Daily Management: Overseeing all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
What Do You Need?
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
* Knowledge: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
* Attributes: Highly driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
* Skills: Experience with budgets and rotas.
* Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.
* Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.
