Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing their needs and expectations. This role requires a blend of strong customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and ascertain their service needs.
* Provide detailed explanations of services required and recommend additional services where appropriate.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
* Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all customer interactions are documented accurately in the system.
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely updates on service progress and communicate these updates to customers.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
* Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their needs were met and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable to facilitate effective communication with technicians and customers.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
