Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Strategic Insight and Performance Lead to join our Capital Delivery PMO team. This key role is instrumental in pro-actively driving Strategic PMO Capital Programme development, planning, and management activities. In addition to this delivering high-quality, holistic, and actionable insights to Capital Delivery Leadership, Strategic Programme Leadership Teams, and senior stakeholders across the business. Reporting to the Senior Strategic Insight & Performance Manager, the successful candidate will provide leadership support – including acting as a direct delegate, resource management, and coaching for PMO Controllers/Leads, ensuring the team develops the required capabilities to support strategic objectives. This position requires a strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Asset Management Strategic Sponsors, Investment Programme Managers, Capital Delivery teams, and Supply Chain Partners. Responsibilities will include: Lead the custodianship and management of complex Strategic PMO activities, including execution planning, programme builds, work allocation, delivery optimisation, and formal re-forecasting. Support periodic engagement with sponsors and delivery teams for forecasting, resource management, and planning of programme and project releases into delivery. Provide expert insight and strategic guidance to Capital Delivery Leadership and Strategic Programme Leadership Teams to enhance delivery performance. Collaborate with the Reporting Team to continuously improve reporting and insight tools, ensuring actionable insights that drive programme performance. Conduct in-depth analysis and stakeholder engagement to investigate delivery performance trends, manage actions, and monitor performance improvements. Work with PMO teams and other stakeholders to ensure a effective and value-driven assurance framework is in place. About You Extensive experience in a PMO environment, with demonstrable experience in managing complex project and programme delivery cycles. Strong Subject Matter Expertise in Investment Portfolios and Programme Management Best Practices. Proven experience in supporting robust, enterprise-wide governance processes. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with the capability to develop and guide teams effectively. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships at all levels. Confidence in presenting and discussing Investment Programmes with senior stakeholders. Highly analytical mindset, capable of translating complex data into meaningful insights to drive strategic decision-making. Package This role will be full-time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
