Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate and experienced in Sports Coaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a love for Sports and who is considering a career in education and want to gain valuable experience.
About the Role:
As a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach, you will:
1. Maintaining good order and behaviour thereby facilitating learning and safeguarding health and safety in school and authorised school activities elsewhere.
2. Participating in whole school, departmental and pastoral and individual arrangements for her/his in-service training and professional development.
3. Covering lessons and clubs when required.
4. Supporting on away fixtures.
5. Undertake a duty as published rotas.
6. Taking part in scheduled meetings with colleagues and, if necessary, parents in accordance with the school’s published calendar.
7. Taking delegated responsibility for the implementation of the Health and Safety Act in accordance with the School’s and the LEA’s Health and Safety Policy.
8. Ensuring children are safe within school.
9. To keep an up-to-date record of achievement in line with the expectations required of the Level 2 apprenticeship course.
10. To assist the faculty in ensuring that office spaces, teaching areas and storage spaces remain neat and tidy.
Requirements as a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach:
11. Have suitable educational qualifications and relevant experience.
12. A knowledge of current educational issues especially in relation to pastoral care
13. Have an excellent punctuality, attendance and health record.
14. Be aware of the need to ensure children are safe within school.
