We are looking for an occasional hours Driver to work here at Eithinog.
Eithinog is home for 34 adults with physical disabilities.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
About the role
As a Driver with Leonard Cheshire you will provide the transportation requirements of the service. Ensuring the safety of passengers, you will assist residents as required, fully supporting individual mobility needs.
You will ensure our vehicles are well maintained, with regular safety checks for oil, water, tyre pressure etc, frequently cleaned and well presented.
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a driving licence with no endorsements and previous driving experience.
* Be MiDAS accredited for appropriate vehicles (suitable training will be required for other vehicles).
* Have experience of driving a minibus and/or adapted vehicles (desirable for some roles).
* Be willing to work flexibly to the needs of the service.
