Our client is a dynamic, highly commercial, rapidly expanding, market leading provider of services to the construction industry. It is a VC-backed operation with a growing nucleus of professional staff based at their Head Office, in Ross-on-Wye. They now seek to appoint a capable and diligent Financial Controller, reporting to the CFO, to take responsibility for all accounting for this multi-million-pound turnover business that is experiencing phenomenal growth. The nature of the work that they perform in the field is highly project focused and the team work closely to support operations throughout the project lifecycle.
The role of Financial Controller will lead in reviewing and streamlining all processes, take responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, audits, forecasting and planning. You will position yourself as the valued partner to the Operations and Commercial Directors and will be responsible for the timely and accurate provision of information (reports) to the Chief Financial Officer and Investors.
Whilst the role will be based in Ross-on-Wye, they offer a hybrid working arrangement, and there will also be travel to other UK offices when required (typically a couple of times per month). The role is an all-round Financial leadership role including full commercial responsibility but will also include completion of full statutory reports too.
