Our client, a well-established and supportive accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of clients and ensure top-tier service delivery. The Role:
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their needs and ensuring compliance.
* Oversee the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services while identifying opportunities for additional support.
* Lead and mentor a small team of bookkeepers and trainee accountants, supporting their development.
* Ensure all work meets technical standards, deadlines, and business goals.
* Support the Head of Business Services with billing targets, workflow monitoring, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
* Accountancy practice experience in a Business Services/Client Manager role
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting & tax with a client-focused approach
* People management & leadership skills - experience mentoring junior staff
* Ability to manage multiple client relationships, negotiate fees, and deliver commercial insights
