Job Purpose:
As a member of the People Development team, this role will contribute to the delivery of a learning culture, bringing innovation and new thinking to workplace learning while integrating the 70:20:10 model for workplace learning. Areas of focus will include:
1. Expertise in leading the application of, and innovation in using learning technologies to support a forward-thinking learning and development function and enable the ambition in supporting all colleagues to enhance their potential.
2. Lead on the growth and application in the use of new learning technologies to support an innovative approach to workplace learning in Ulster.
3. Expertise in the design, development, and build of eLearning products.
4. Specialist advice and consultancy on learning design and delivery of workplace interventions that support compulsory compliance training pan university.
5. Playing a key role in the delivery of a governance structure to enable consistent and best practice in compulsory compliance training management, ensuring current and future compliance needs of Ulster University in relation to learning, training, data, and reporting.
6. To make a significant contribution to the growth of the People Development function and discipline within the institution and contribute to the delivery of the wider People and Culture operational plan by working closely with colleagues in the other sections of the People and Culture Directorate.
