BBC Verify is seeking a broadcast senior producer with experience of open-source and data journalism to work in the Verify Production Hub.
BBC Verify brings together open-source intelligence (OSINT) specialists, disinformation reporters, fact checkers, and data journalists to find impactful stories and to offer new lines and compelling coverage of the biggest issues across BBC News’s website, social media, television, and radio.
Transparency is an essential element in ensuring audiences feel they can trust the BBC’s journalism, and BBC Verify is at the heart of this as we find new ways to share more of the important, thoughtful work that goes into verifying, fact-checking, and sourcing our journalism.
The successful candidate will work alongside the wider team and our correspondents to identify editorial opportunities to tell exciting stories using innovative and impactful formats for our broadcast output.
