Cough & Cold Northern Europe Marketing Manager
This position is based at our High Wycombe office (hybrid working policy) and has an estimated JUNE start date.

We now have a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our business as a contractor for approximately 13 months. Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for leading the Cough & Cold portfolio in Northern Europe: Sudafed, Benylin and other brands, reporting to the Self-care squad Director. You will be coaching and developing a team of 4-5.
What You Will Do
1. Drive growth of the Cough & Decongestants portfolio of brands across the Northern Europe Cluster.
2. Full accountability to deliver the in-year full P&L and share targets, as well as shaping Northern Europe Yr3 plans and deploying the strategy driven by the Cough & Cold Global BDT (Brand Development Team).
3. Lead the Northern Europe Cough & Cold Squads, driving close collaboration across UK, Ireland & Nordic markets.
4. Be a key member of the BDT, working closely with the Global Needstate Leader and Regional Deployment Leader, advising on the needs of the UK as a Priority Market and sharing local insights.
5. Work closely with the EMEA Deployment Leader to drive excellence in execution for Cough, Cold & Decongestants in Northern Europe.
6. Collaborate with local Commercial teams to address challenges, drive opportunities and build differentiated plans to unlock category growth with key retail partners.
7. Use analytical skills to shape and size commercial and innovation opportunities.
8. Develop and coach a direct team, also lead cross-functional Squads working in close collaboration with the Squad Director.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
1. Experienced at Marketing Manager (PG30) level with a strong track record of performance in a matrixed organization delivering both strategic thinking and strong local activation.
2. Degree level educated or equivalent experience and brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
3. People management experience essential, responsible for coaching and developing teams.
4. Experience in developing, adapting and activating content & communication plans, including media strategy and deployment, data-driven marketing and a deep understanding of customer and retailer requirements.
5. Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L development.
