Job Description
All of our team are genuinely kind and caring people. We match carers with clients based on any similar interests or hobbies and introduce care staff to clients to make the first visit as enjoyable as possible. Here is more information about the Field Care Supervisor role.
1. Establish client care routines and conduct Care Professional introductions to lead the team.
2. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
3. Support care consultations, service reviews, and completing client support plans.
4. Conduct staff supervisions and client QA’s.
5. Create, update, and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.
6. Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records on Home Instead software.
7. Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly.
8. Support and mentor Care Professionals.
9. Provide support to the Client Experience team.
10. Maintain regular contact with clients and Care Professionals.
11. Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
12. Participate in on-call duties rota as agreed in advance.
13. Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
Qualifications
Our perfect Field Care Supervisor may be someone looking to progress their career - and will have experience working in a care setting.
Essential
1. Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care/equivalent or working towards it.
2. Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
3. Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication.
4. Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
5. Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
6. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
7. Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to Care Professionals.
8. Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
9. Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
10. Must have full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
11. Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
