Quality Inspector vacancy in Inverurie - Scotland (070DM)
Job Description:
As a QC Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality. Working closely with departmental managers, production staff, and suppliers, you will be responsible for final inspections and relevant documentation, aiming to minimize rework costs, reduce waste, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirement:
Machine shop inspection experience (A short 2-minute demo will be required during the interview.)
Duration: 6 months - high possibility to extend and temp to perm.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitor and report on the Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of the required work scope.
2. Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all project documentation related to API 6A.
3. Verify and ensure the correctness of all required component parts.
4. Complete various inspection and quality reports.
5. Ensure mechanical and inspection reports meet the required standards.
6. Ensure traceability of all parts and maintain an accurate documentation trail.
7. Record and document traceable information needed to certify the manufacturing process to the highest standards.
8. Verify the completeness and accuracy of all documentation.
9. Interpret API standards and client requirements to ensure compliance with the relevant product standards.
10. Identify engineering issues and process inputs at key stages of component manufacturing, from order acknowledgement to final inspection.
11. Suggest adjustments to the process as needed.

Location: Inverurie
Rotating day/night shift:
1st 1 to 2 months will be day shift only.
After rotating every 2 weeks.
Day shift: Mon-Thu 07.30-15.30, Fri 07.30-14.30
Night shift: Mon-Wed 19.00-05.30 & Thu 19.00-04.30
Night Shift Allowance: basic rate x 1/3.
