Our client who is an Insurance Brokerage is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join their expanding team in the Essex office. The purpose of the role is to work with SME Commercial clients to ensure they have the correct Insurance covers in place.
Main Duties:
* Deal with Commercial risks across Property, Liability, and Commercial Vehicle
* Giving instructions to insurance providers
* Checking policy documents (including endorsements) prior to receipt by clients
* To handle the invoicing of premiums due and maintaining credit control of allocated clients
* To process correspondence, renewal, pre-renewal activity, quotations and data input
* Ensuring that all post and diary activity is completed on a daily basis
* Manage own files as per local procedure
* Deal with New Business, Renewals and MTAs
* Maintain and grow existing client accounts
* Up-selling and cross selling effectively
* Follow up on new business leads and enquires
* Handle complaint as needed
Essential Skills Required:
* Previous experience within a similar Insurance role
* Knowledge across various Commercial Insurance
* Strong attention to detail
Desirable:
* Good organisation skills
* Strong IT skills
