A minimum of 24 months on your right to work Minimum of 6 months of Activities Coordinator experience. A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator Companionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources. Event planning – our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents. Resident interaction – you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition. External communications – as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents. Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.
