Hours and Pay Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 £ 12.35 ph Sunday to Thursday 14:00-22:00 £13.96 ph 22:00 -06:00 £14.20 ph For night shift you will need to do the training on PM shift. Key Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Load materials onto the cutting machine based on work orders. Install and align cutting tools (blades, dies) according to material and desired cut specifications. Program machine settings including cutting speed, feed rate, and pressure. Operation: Monitor cutting process, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and consistency. Inspect cut materials for accuracy and defects, identifying and reporting any issues. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments. Quality Control: Regularly check cut pieces against quality standards using measuring tools. Identify and address potential quality issues before they become major problems. Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of cutting machine. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule. Report any significant machine malfunctions to maintenance personnel. Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety concerns immediately. Required Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machine operation principles. Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision cutting standards. Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements Physical ability to lift and handle materials Good hand-eye coordination
