Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and committed Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to support students aged 3 to 18 years across several SEN schools in the Wokingham area. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver lessons to small groups and individual students
2. Prepare teaching materials, take registers, and write reports
3. Support students in building confidence, independence, and fostering a love for learning
4. Manage student behaviour and create a safe, engaging environment for all learners
What We’re Looking For:
1. Sensitivity, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
2. A team player with a collaborative mindset
3. Flexible and open to new challenges
4. A strong understanding of students' individual needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
5. Experience in an SEN environment is preferred, but not essential
