The Practice prides itself on creating a warm, welcoming environment for staff and patients. We provide quality clinical care to approximately 8050 patients and have worked to establish close connections within the local community, including nursing and residential homes, pharmacies, the District Nursing Team and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
Actively partake in duties associated with general practice nursing, in line with Practice policies and procedures. Which includes, but is not limited to:
* Dressings and wound care
* Medication administration
* Cervical Screening
* Long term condition reviews
* Opportunistic health promotion
* Venepuncture
* Clinical administration
About us
Our clinical team consists of three GP Partners, one salaried GP, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, one Paramedic, one Practice Nurse, one HCA and one Phlebotomist as well as the extended team of Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and First Contact Practitioners.
They are supported by a committed team of care navigators, administrative support and managerial team.
We are also a training practice with GP Registrars and Student Nurses on placement with us.
As a smaller team we have to work collaboratively to ensure we are achieving the high standards that we attain to and are providing care to our patients to be proud of. To encourage an ethos of us working together as a team, we arrange bi-monthly socials, have small gifts at special times of the year and have a big, post Christmas celebration.
Job responsibilities
To be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population.
The practice nurse will be responsible for a variety of clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure.
