We are seeking a Systemic Lecturer/Tutor for our MSc Systemic Family Therapy training course Based at the Psychological Therapies Training Centre, renowned for providing high quality training to students in psychological therapies, this course provides training in knowledge and key skills to become a systemic psychotherapist. Trainees engage with range of theory, models and research with emphasis on adult learning principles, evidence-based practice and creative approaches. Candidates will have substantial clinical experience, experience of delivering training and supervision, with a demonstrable interest in systemic theory and practice and understanding of the training contexts relating to Family and Systemic Practice. The course is strongly committed to addressing systemic racism and social justice in systemic family psychotherapy. We wish to recruit staff who are passionate about decolonising and promoting anti-racist practice and privileging issues of race, culture, social justice and equality in practice, teaching and supervision, challenge marginalising practices and subjugation in all forms. Having excellent communication and organisational skills, being able to develop, coordinate and participate within all the training course. Successful candidate must be registered with the UKCP as a Systemic Family & Couple Psychotherapist. This is an initial fixed term post for one year. Secondment can be offered with the agreement of an applicant's existing employer. Post holders will be able to work remotely when not teaching or attending meetings on site.
