**Job Title:** Housing Project Senior Practitioner (Edinburgh Young Persons Service)
**Location:** Based at LinkLiving’s Edinburgh office
**Hours:** 37.5 per week, mainly Monday to Friday, 9–5

### The Service
Our Edinburgh Young Persons’ Service supports individuals aged 16–25, including care leavers and those experiencing homelessness or trauma. We provide housing support and supported accommodation tailored to individual needs, helping young people achieve their goals and build positive futures.
### The Role
As Housing Project Senior Practitioner, you’ll help young people explore housing options and support them in accessing and managing accommodation. You’ll also oversee all aspects of our accommodation provision.
### About You
We’re looking for a compassionate individual with:
- **Education:** Standard Grade or equivalent in English and Maths; willingness to achieve an SVQ Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare.
- **Experience:** Social care, housing support, and supported living; working with homeless young people; and knowledge of welfare rights and related procedures.
- **Skills:** Ability to build trusting relationships, make sound decisions, and adopt a proactive approach to learning and development.
- **Attributes:** Empathy, respect, and sensitivity to diverse needs, with a flexible, reliable, and practical mindset.

### Additional Information
- **Registration:** Successful candidates must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months.
- **PVG Scheme:** This role requires Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme registration, with costs covered by LinkLiving.
