Job Title: Security Governance, Risk and Assurance Manager

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the design and implementation of a compliance and assurance capability for Maritime Services covering all aspects of protective security
* Ensure security compliance is supported by effective policies, procedures, and processes, incorporating new controls for a robust assurance system
* Drive continuous improvement in security assurance through data, statistical analysis, and reporting
* Assess and update security measures to ensure policies and procedures reflect current developments
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local functions and business representatives
Your skills and experiences:
* Relevant security qualification from a recognised certified body
* Proven experience in delivering security management and safeguarding high-value assets
* Strong understanding of government and industry security policies, standards, and best practices
* Demonstrated technical expertise and skills, reflective of a security professional with increasing responsibility
* ISO27001 Lead Auditor, Certified Information Security Auditor, or equivalent certification
* Knowledge of security management, including physical security, information security, incident management, investigations, crisis management, and personnel security

The Maritime Services Management Information Team:
