Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) - Up to £75K - Buckinghamshire Tradeline are actively recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor who is able to provide commercial services covering electrical packages on Commercial and Industrial projects. Our client is a rapidly growing company working on large scale commercial and industrial electrical installation projects all over the country. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a Pre-Con and Technical team, to manage and oversee the financial aspects of tenders received. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electrical quantity surveying, with a background including estimating, cost planning, and contract administration. Expertise in cost management. You will be required to undertake Surveys, Validations and liaise with clients to propose Value Engineering. You will coordinate with the Design Team and the Project Team. You will be required to provide detailed handovers and cost analysis reports for the projects that have successfully been tendered. You will attend cost meetings with stakeholders and be able to provide compliant alternatives to suit the client’s needs. Your role: Generate accurate cost estimates for electrical components of construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment. Perform detailed cost analysis and value engineering to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction. To use the designed systems to allow for transparency of costs. Division of the project to component work packages to ensure that the project team are aware of who is undertaking which aspects of the contract. Dealing with the clients on attaining Landlord Tenant Agreements to enter contract. Experience and Qualifications Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations. Experience using IT for job reporting. Good verbal and written communication skills. Hold a full UK driving licence. Have the ability to travel throughout the UK as required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Tendering. Proven track record of Tendering electrical projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
