We arecurrently seeking a Sustainability Advisor to join our growingteam.
Aimof theRole
Asa Sustainability Advisor youwill:
Play a crucialrole in driving climate action by building strong partnerships withcustomers and promoting our sustainablesolutions
Collaborate withvarious teams to develop marketspecific sales strategies andgotomarket propositions that attract and securecustomers
Consult withprospects (the majority of which have limited understanding of thesolutions we are proposing) to develop strategies and programmesthat generate business value and align with their sustainabilitygoals
Work closelywith internal teams to scope tailored climatesolutions
Support thestrengthening of relationships with existing customers alongsideour Customer Experience team who are interested in enhancing theirclimate/sustainabilityaction
Stay updated onthe latest trends and opportunities in environmental and socialsustainability markets to deliver impactfulsolutions
Supporting thecreation of detailed plans for effectivedelivery

Duties
Leadconversion
oBuild brandawareness amongst your own network utilising tools in LinkedInetc
oConvert leadswho will come from Brandled activities inbound enquiries andcommercialpartnerships

Buildrelationships
oDevelopstrategic relationships with leads prospects and customers tomaximise customer revenue retention and the amount of impact weprovide
Proposalgeneration/management
oMeet withprospects (almost always remotely) to understand their requirementsbudget timescales and other initialdetails
oScope thetechnical approach to deliver a prospect s requirements working forconsultants on technical details ifneeded
oPrice thatapproach with options if needed using our pricing calculator byassigning tasks and hours to various consultantgrades
oCreate and issuehighquality proposal/contract documents to detail our approach andthe relatedfees
Closingopportunities
oNurturenegotiate and close new business opportunities as part of managingyourpipeline
o Managehandover of won projects and relationships to the PMO &Consultancy team including providing background information fromsales calls/emails more detail on scope/pricing approach and anyrisks opportunities orchallenges.
o Monitorfeedback or reasons for lost work and implement/make suggestionsfor improvements to our services processes pricing etc. as well asyour own commercialapproach
Recordkeeping
oMaintainexcellent records in our CRM
oMonitorcommercial metrics against targets and report in other internalsystems
Manage salesfunnels
oAlongside ourmarketing team oversee delivery of sales aligned to developed salesstrategies and be able to forecast current and future sales forspecificservices/sectors
Personaldevelopment
oIdentifyopportunities for personal and professional development througheducation networking events and presentations both internally andexternally
Requirements
SkillsQualifications &Experience
Sustainabilityexperience professional experience and interest in environmentaland/or social sustainability and a passion for sharing that withour leads andcustomers
Organisationalskills able to plan and manage resources prioritise your workloadand keep goodrecords
Communicationskills able to communicate effectively with internal and externalstakeholders both written and verbally and able to work ina collaborative team environment whichincludes discussions around creative reviews giving and receivingconstructive feedback to and from fellow team membersandcustomers
DesirableAttributes
Sustainabilityconsultancy experience experience working in or with sustainabilityconsultancies delivering strategic advice in environmental and/orsocialareas.
Businessdevelopment interest an interest to apply sustainability knowledgeand experience when identifying sales opportunities nurturingprospects and delivering agreed salesresults
CRMmanagement able to create edit and manage records within a CRMaligned to agreedprocesses
