You’ll be part of an empoweredproduct team,responsible for the TalkTalk PLUS App user experience across all interactions.We’re looking for a Product Designer who haspast experience of Service Design, UX and UI. Working in partnership with a Product Manager,Engineer and a team of developers, you’llbe responsible for the full design process from Discovery through to Delivery. You’llembed the design process in your squad, champion theproductand achieve the most valuable design across Customer, Commercial and Tech. You’ll be a design leader, natural collaborator and have proven experience of designing and continually improving Apps.
The Team
You will work in an outcome focussed squad alongside a Product Manager, Product Tech lead, developers and testers to identify solutions and deliver outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
1. Experience of designing App products and services including full end-to-end journeys (Portfolio required)
2. Evidence of solving complex design problems and implementing brilliant solutions
3. Experience of storytelling andcompelling product narratives toinfluence stakeholders
4. Creating visually appealing presentations tocommunicate your design ideas
5. Collaboration skills and ability to work well with engineers, product managers,insights / analytics and other key stakeholders
6. Desire to continually improve and find ways of doing things better
7. Experience of working with a product manager to feed the product backlog with features that add value
8. Able to work well with engineers, create effective design documentation and shipproduct increments
9. Facilitate design thinking workshops and ideation sessions to foster creativity and generate innovative / disruptive ideas
10. Validate product concepts through experimentation and iterative testing, gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders
11. Advocate for the voice of the customer and ensure design decisions are driven by customer insights and data
12. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologiesand best practices in product design
13. Ability to plan and estimate the size of design work
14. Ensure our products and services align with our brand identity
15. Commercial acumen – understanding of customers, market, able to align design process to business outcomes
16. Strong objection handling and influencing skills to ensure design meeting the needs of the problem not the individual stakeholders
