Within Corporate Functions, this role sits within the DSO (Daily Sales Outstanding) program. One such DSO workstream is the Strategic Invoice Platform Consolidation initiative. This multi-year greenfield initiative is building a strategic cloud-enabled post-trade invoicing system for our Global Broking LoB. Thereafter, a multi-year migration will move the invoice & discounting capabilities from the legacy technology stacks onto the new platform in a phased manner across all of our Global trading entities.
The successful candidate will be required to:
1. Own/Shape/Refine a migration sequence at client/desk/asset class level across multiple trading regions.
2. Coordinate, hold and lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business. Monitor, track issues, risks, and dependencies on analysis and requirements work.
3. Proactively ensure project (functional + non-functional) requirements are captured and signed off by key senior Business and Technology stakeholders.
4. Challenge stakeholders or other Technology teams where requirements or solutions are not in line with wider strategy or lead to increased risk.
5. Form part of an Agile Delivery POD/Team with specific accountabilities around Story refinement, achieving DoR, DEV/QA handovers, Test support.
6. Transpose hi-level functional requirements into granular JIRA stories with sufficient granularity as to achieve DoR (Definition of Ready).
7. Ensure that current & target state data & process flows are clearly documented in JIRAs as appropriate.
8. Complete handover of JIRAs to Developers as part of the DoR stage-gate.
9. Work with QAs to ensure test approaches and test ACs align with the functional objective of each story.
10. Understand and challenge requirements; proactively raise risks and issues to the Project Manager where identified.
11. Support testing phases (SIT, UAT etc.) and end-user training.
12. Take responsibility for the quality of Business Analysis work within the same business line, peer review work and provide feedback.
13. Manage ad-hoc tasks as required.

Person Specification
Knowledge
1. Good understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle, including client-facing UI, trading, middle/back-office, and reference data.
2. Understanding of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery.
3. Proficient at data analysis tasks using basic SQL; understand the data requirements from upstream/downstream.
4. Ownership of functional specs.
Experience
1. MUST HAVE
2. Proven experience of Big data migrations/Data Integration/Data analysis across client/desk/asset class level.
3. Previous experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst in Financial Services Technology, ideally within an Agile development environment.
4. Strong understanding of financial products and their data characteristics.
5. Big data analysis using SQL, Python or equivalent tooling to identify functional and non-functional requirements.
6. UML modelling for functional workflow and requirements.
7. Highly proficient in Excel, pivots etc. It is key the successful candidate can digest large data extracts, reconcile them and/or turn them into meaningful dashboard summaries.
8. Solid understanding of HL Architecture/Technical Designs, and specifically which components are impacted by specific requirements, understanding downstream impacts.
9. XML/BML/fpML Experience.

2. Previous experience whereby JIRA formed the golden source of truth for large transformation projects is highly desirable.
3. MI & Regulatory Reporting will be a significant part of this role. Experience in breaking down and grouping such requirements will be instrumental in this role.
4. Preferred candidates will have experience with API contracts, swagger etc.
