Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Daily Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Bury St Edmunds. As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in various school settings and make a positive impact on students' learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
2. Deliver Lessons: Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction across a range of subjects.
3. Adaptability: Be prepared to teach different year groups and adapt quickly to varying classroom environments and needs.
4. Student Support: Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning and address specific educational needs.
5. Feedback: Leave detailed feedback for the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and any issues encountered during the day.
6. Professionalism: Represent Protocol Education and maintain high standards of professionalism and teaching quality.
What we need from you:
7. Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
8. Experience: Previous experience teaching in primary schools is preferred but not required.
Skills:
9. Strong classroom management skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
11. Flexibility and adaptability.
12. A positive attitude and a passion for teaching.
13. Compliance: Must hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
