Job Description
Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for sales, relationship management, and driving business growth? Bosch Oceania is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to cover the Queensland, Western Australia, and Northern Territory regions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in robotics, automation, and manufacturing solutions. This is a Maximum term (2 Years) full-time opportunity, it will be a home-office based role which will require regular regional and domestic travel, and occasional international travel.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will :
1. Proactively seek out and develop new regional business opportunities by effectively communicating the value proposition of BAMS to current and potential customers.
2. Coordinate marketing and advertising activities across Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.
3. Facilitate regular discussions, meetings, and conferences with BAMS customers.
4. Represent BAMS at exhibitions and conferences.
5. Partner with customers to understand their commercial and technical requirements and assist in creating tailored solution concepts.
6. Perform market analysis, benchmarking, and support BAMS offerings while maintaining a competitive edge.
7. Manage the end-to-end customer-facing sales process, including marketing and sales strategy, lead generation, enquiry handling, oversee project execution, and post-service follow-up.
8. Foster effective communication and collaboration with BAMS teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of customer projects.
9. Regularly update the CRM system with accurate and timely information on sales activities, customer interactions, and leads.
10. Collaborate with divisional partners and sales support teams to maximize market engagement.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following :
1. Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the Australian industrial and automation systems marketplace.
2. Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (desirable).
3. Strong practical engineering and business acumen is essential.
4. Solid understanding of technical documents and drawings.
5. Proven experience in selling capital equipment, preferably in Industrial Automation.
6. Background in Factory Automation, Robotics, or Industry 4.0 (I4.0) in Manufacturing.
7. Demonstrated experience managing a broad sales region.
8. Extensive experience in building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective customers, paired with superior selling and negotiating skills.
9. Strong organizational and self-discipline skills, including record-keeping, performance tracking, and time management.
10. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, paired with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
11. A solid track record in industrial sales, with consistent success in achieving targets and driving business growth.
12. Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
13. Experience with Salesforce (desirable).
14. Current and valid driver’s license.
