About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will join a residential developer who are recently established in the UK but have an international turnover of £4.5 billion with work in Italy, Australia, and Taiwan. They currently have 2 live sites with a total of 36 units. These projects are fast moving with a completion date towards the end of 2025. The company are acquiring land across London, such as Mayfair, and are looking to add a permanent full time Quantity Surveyor to the team who will be working on traditional build and RC frame projects.
This is an interesting and exciting opportunity for an open-minded individual who would like to work at a start-up who has strong financial backing with certainty to become an integral part of the team as the company grows in the UK.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
Liaising with the team to ensure the commercial success of the projects from tender and procurement to final accounts
Adhering to contractual requirements
Assist the team in managing risks and resolving disputes
Monitor costs throughout the projects life-cycle to ensure it stays within budgetKey Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
Degree in a construction related subject
MUST be RICS Chartered
MINIMUM 5 years experience ideally at a developer
Be willing to travel to sites outside of London for the next 9 months
