Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inspiring and dynamic music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, catering to a range of abilities.
* Foster students' creativity and passion for music through practical and theoretical teaching.
* Teach a variety of music genres, from classical to contemporary, and engage students with both performance and composition.
* Lead extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choirs, and music clubs, to nurture students' talents outside the classroom.
* Support students in preparing for exams and assessments, offering guidance on coursework and performance techniques.
* Collaborate with other departments and colleagues to support the overall development of students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Music Teacher with relevant teaching qualifications and experience.
* Strong knowledge of music theory and practical music skills (instrumental, vocal, composition, etc.).
* Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students to achieve their potential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in leading or contributing to school music clubs, choirs, or school performances is desirable.
