Full job description:
The Staffing Network are recruiting for an experienced Class 1 driver to join our clients team based in Portsmouth. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering to customers across the UK, refrigerated trunking / Tramping. Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
Duties:
1. Drive Class 1 on designated routes
2. Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods
3. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
4. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
6. Maintain accurate delivery records
Qualifications:
1. Hold a valid Class 1 driving licence, CPC and Digi card
2. Previous knowledge and experience of refrigerated vehicles
3. Strong understanding of road safety regulations
4. Excellent communication skills
